Another Opinion on Bishop

I have been watching this Bishop debate for only a short time, and as a historian I have yet to see anything in print that offers serious evidence to support the claim that he was a fabricator of events. Now that I have shared from my objective angle, now I will share from the more subjective angle....In Canada we have a group of dedicated revisionist pseudo-historians who feel that it is their divine mission to trash the rep's of Canadian heroes like Bishop. Note that flyers like Barker, Collishaw, Mclaren have not had the same level of scrutiny. Neither has Ball.... he was a solo flyer, yet no one would have the gall to even suggest that he may have exaggerated. The reason I include Ball is that he did NOT survive the war, whereas Bishop did. I think it is because some, especially in the UK, like their heroes dead, not dying in bed in Palm Springs....
